Our slugs are handmade. All are swaged from very soft pure lead. The hollow point has good balance of expansion and penetration.  This boat tail is designed for low drag to improve the ballistic coefficient.  Boat tail slugs are on average 10% less drag than a Flat base slug. For example This 30 grain flat base has BC of .101 compared to a 30 grain boat tail with a bc of .115.  The 34gn will fit FX Sideshot magazines (impact, Crown/Dreamline) but not the older magazines pre 2020. Slug data is also printed on each pack with BC, SD and Length.
